Two top-15 hopefuls face off in a high-stakes opener that could shape the middle of the rankings. LSU’s Nussmeier and Clemson’s Klubnik are both being talked about as potential top-10 draft picks in 2026, and this game is a major opportunity to build that narrative.

Michigan Wolverines at Oklahoma Sooners (Sept. 6)

If Mateer finds success here, the Sooners could take a big leap. If Michigan locks things down and gets even decent QB play, they may not skip a beat post-Harbaugh.
