My Parents Were Hippies

The boys are back for another fun episode, starting off with a look at all the “National Days” that somehow exist. From the reasonable to the ridiculous, Eric puts Pat and Bill to the test in a hilarious mini-game show called “National or Nonsense?” Can they tell which holidays are real and which ones are completely made up? For example, is National Clean Your Desk Day legit, or is National Thumbs Up Day the real deal? Tune in and play along because you will be surprised at what is actually recognized.

Next up is Nailed It, where listeners get another shot at qualifying for next year’s all-expenses-paid trip for two to Las Vegas. This week’s questions mix in some NBA, hockey, and soccer alongside the usual football topics for a little extra variety.

Then it is time for Hot Takes. Bill isn’t happy about his Mariners falling short in Game 7 of the ALCS, Pat talks Rashee Rice’s return and gives a shoutout to the growing podcast audience, and Eric fires off plenty of his own, ranging from the Giants’ collapse to Vanderbilt’s incredible season to a D3 football record that has to be heard to be believed.

After that, the crew dives into the Stone Cold Locks, where Bill stays red hot and improves to 16-8 on the year after a 3-0 sweep last week. Eric and Pat are looking to make up ground as the boys fire off nine more live picks for Week 8.

Finally, they close with a college football themed Top 5, ranking their favorite and most impressive players of the season so far from across the Power 4 conferences.

There are plenty of detours, debates, and laughs along the way, all adding up to another classic Sandman episode you will not want to miss.
