Contest availability · state map
Public contests run in the 26 states we are live in, and each state’s rules apply inside them. Private contests are available in all 50 jurisdictions. Switch contest type, then switch the view. Click a state for its details.
Public contests are open competitions anyone can join, offered in states that permit real-money contest play. Where available, players can enter contests with cash prizes. State availability is determined by current regulatory status and may change — some states allow professional sports contests but not college sports contests, and each state’s detail shows exactly what applies.
Private contests are skill-based, peer-to-peer competitions rather than gambling. Participants compete against one another based on knowledge, research, and strategic decision-making, and 100% of the prize pool is returned to the players — Sandman Sports does not take a percentage of the pot, set odds, or wager against users. We charge a flat administrative fee for providing the technology platform that lets users create contests, invite participants, track results, and distribute winnings.
